Back when my interest in the 250cc class existed little beyond scoping out possible up and coming MotoGP riders, one name that caught my attention was Jorge Lorenzo. Despite not knowing much about him or the class he raced in at the time, I was still struck with the impression that he was one of those riders who had a little extra something, who you can always safely bet on to be there on race day despite any circumstances which has clearly been on display since the start of his MotoGP career. Like him or not, few will argue that it may just be a matter of time before Jorge takes the premier class world title.
