VIR Day 3 Race Results and Twitter Report

Josh won in Daytona Sportbike, Josh won in Supersport, and Josh won in American Superbike. Josh also clinched the SuperSport East title. The American Superbike title was clinched by... Mat Mladin.

Unfortunately the now-familiar red flag also made their fair share of appearances today.

In other news, @OnTheThrottleTV was also back on the radar today. The reason for his absense yesterday? He was working. Ho hum.

The crash fest continued today in Daytona Sportbike with a turn 1 pile-up on the first lap involving Brent Lyskawa, Josh Galster, Shawn Higbee, Reese Wacker, Ricky Parker and Melissa Paris. The restarted race produced another slew of crashes, including Jason DiSalvo who hit his knee on the curbing, rode off the track, and fell over in pain. Of the 38 riders who originally started the race only 23 reached the checkered flag.

In American Superbike Josh Hayes completed the double with another dominant win over Tommy Hayden and teammate Ben Bostrom. Mat Mladin finished 9th, good enough to clinch his 7th Superbike title.
