The Sights and Sounds of Laguna Seca. Okay, Mostly Just Sights

Having flown in Wednesday night instead of Thursday due to cheaper airfare, I decided to stop by the track to check out some of the pre-weekend festivities. It was fairly empty when I first got there around 1:30pm but quickly filled up with a surprisingly large number of people by the time I left.

Laguna Seca has new banners
No more Nicky on a Repsol, now it's what appears to be Dovi on his 2008 JIR Scot RCV half-heartedly disguised as a non-descript MotoGP bike.

Laguna Seca won't have empty bridges for long
Probably the last time I'll see this bridge empty.

Michelin Man is gone

A giant Michelin Man's torso used to be at this corner.

Killer grass at Laguna Seca
Don't be fooled by its harmless grain-looking appearance, these things stabbed my foot half to death and they were EVERYWHERE. Consider yourself warned.
