It's Miller Time
About 30 hours from now, I'll be arriving at a racetrack not as a spectator with a camera but as a member of the press (albeit temporarily so) for the first time in my life. Big thanks to Paul Nielson of Motoworld Media (@TheMotoworld on Twitter) for this amazing opportunity to get a glimpse of my dream job. I'm still pinching myself.
Another reason why this trip has special meaning for me is because the first race I've ever attended with the vague intention of shooting race photos was this same event one year ago, making this weekend a personal anniversary of sorts. I still vividly remember strolling through the track entrance with a backpack full of borrowed camera equipment, wide-eyed and barely a clue what I was doing. Other than the fact that I now have my own gear, I'm anticipating a very similar experience.

Troy Corser circa June 2008, before the existence of CornerSpeedPhoto
My flight is tomorrow, the adventure begins Friday morning.
Here goes nothing.
