Jake Zemke Goes for a Daytona 200 Win

Jake Zemke began the 2011 AMA Pro Racing season with enough resources for just one race, and he had to make it count. Arriving at the season opener with a very modestly funded team and machinery, Zemke put the unbranded all-black R6 on the Daytona 200 pole and eventually on the podium after a memorable and drama-filled race. However, his valiant effort did not earn him any additional races in the AMA that season altho several months later he would go on to claim a race win in the British Superbike EVO class on only his second attempt.
